“80’s Songs” started from a single line and quickly evolved into a full track as Max explored a vibrant reggae-inspired pop sound. Drawing on his love for reggae and reggae-adjacent music, he embraced a laid-back, tropical vibe that felt fresh and fun.

Iris appears on Max’s cover album, a project where he explored darker, rock-inspired reinterpretations of iconic songs. Originally not planned for the album, “Iris” was added as a personal tribute to a close friend who played a key role in the process
